CEB ADVISORY as of October 22, 2013, 10:30am:
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines is upgrading the radar system at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from October 23, 2013 (12:01am) until October 24, 2013 (6am).
Because of this, they have issued a notice to all airlines to reduce the number of flights during this time. The following Cebu Pacific (CEB) flights have been cancelled during this period:
October 23 and 24, 2013 5J 893/894 Manila- Caticlan- Manila
5J 561/562 Manila-Cebu- Manila
The following flights on October 23, 2013 will also have timing adjustments:
5J 453 Manila-Iloilo (New ETD 7:10am, new ETA 8:25am)
5J 454 Iloilo-Manila (New ETD 8:55am, new ETA 10:10am)
CEB guests on flights cancelled because of the radar system upgrade in Manila have the option to rebook with no penalties, for travel within 30 days, or get full travel fund or full refund.
CEB has been contacting affected guests for their re-accommodation. Passengers may also call the Cebu Pacific reservation numbers (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888 for their re-accommodation.
CEB hopes for its guests' understanding as this situation is beyond the airline's control. CEB will continue to provide updates as soon as available.
