We are confident that the suspension will be lifted soon and has offered all affected passengers a full refund or transfer to available flights operated by other airlines so as not to disrupt their travel plans.
However, with the huge volume of more than 6,000 affected passengers as of today, August 19, 2013, only, we are doing our best to assist everyone and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
All our passengers bound for Kuala Lumpur from Manila today, August 19, 2013, will be accommodated by a special AirAsia flight departing at 6:00PM and those going back from Kuala Lumpur to Manila will take the same special AirAsia flight so there are no major disruptions for Manila-Kuala Lumpur-Manila bound passengers as of today.
As of 2:00PM, there are 150 affected passengers at NAIA Terminal 4 waiting to be transferred or accommodated in other airlines. Most of our affected passengers going to Iloilo, Kalibo, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban and Tagbilaran have already been transferred to other airlines as well.
